Thuishospitalisatie – OPAT
OPAT – Outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy
Antibioticabehandeling via parenterale weg met minstens 5 behandeldagen in de leefomgeving van de rechthebbende.
Parenterale antibioticabehandeling waarvoor geen peroraal alternatief beschikbaar is. De eerste 2 parenterale toedieningen moeten in het ziekenhuis plaatsvinden. Vervolgens moeten nog minstens 5 behandeldagen nodig zijn in de thuisomgeving.
Niet alle antibiotica komen in aanmerking voor terugbetaling via OPAT.
